Leif Thuesen教授目前担任爱德华中国THV临床带教专家。既往任丹麦奥尔堡大学医院介入心内科PCI研究主管。于2007年2月完成了丹麦首例TAVI手术，完成了约500例经股动脉及经心尖TAVI术。发表了十数篇TAVI相关的PubMed索引论文。是多项丹麦、北欧及国际性介入相关随机多中心临床研究的发起人，并在多项国内与国际介入学科（PCI与TAVI等）教育课程与会议上担任组织者与讲师。 Dr Leif Thuesen currently works in Aalborg University Hospital as the Head of PCI Research. He performed the first TAVI case in Denmark in February 2007, subsequently he participated in more than 500 TA and TF TAVI cases as first or second operator between 2007 – 2012. During his term as a TAVI proctor in 2012 – 2015 for the US and Japan, Dr Leif Thuesen supported over 500 TF TAVI cases. Over the years he authored/co-authored more than 10 indexed (PubMed) papers on TAVI. Dr Leif Thuesen was also the initiator of Danish, Nordic and international interventional randomized multi-centre trials, and he was the organizer and teacher at national and international courses and meetings on interventional cardiology on PCI and TAVI.
